Applications are now open for Director, Regional Hub – a newly created executive role at Destination NSW.
Reporting to the General Manager Policy, Product & Engagement, the Director, Regional Hub, leads the development of the agency’s plans and activities to grow the visitor economy of regional NSW in alignment with the Visitor Economy Strategy 2030. This includes engagement with the state’s regional Destination Networks and oversight of the destination development plans and programs they develop and deliver.
The Director has critical accountability for coordinating destination development activities across the agency and working with a diverse ecosystem of external stakeholders to ensure representation and visibility of the regional visitor economy in Destination NSW’s organisational strategy, plans and service delivery.
Leading a small team, the Director will foster relationships and provide direction to key stakeholders. There is some flexibility with where the role could be located as extensive travel in NSW will be required.
