NSW Government Invests in NSW’s Future Event Management Workforce
Calling all aspiring event professionals! You can now apply for a scholarship to undertake a Diploma of Event Management thanks to a partnership between the NSW Government and Meetings and Events Australia (MEA).
Applications are now open, with seven scholarships available across the state.
The industry designed and delivered program includes training in project and budget management, customer service and operational planning.
NSW Minister for Tourism Ben Franklin said the scholarships would support the recovery and future growth of the state’s visitor economy.
“The NSW Government is committed to making NSW the premier visitor economy of the Asia Pacific, and building capability and sustainability in our workforce is critical to achieve that,” Mr Franklin said.
