Illawarra South Coast Local Jobs Program

Skills and Training Survey | Hospitality + Tourism

The Illawarra South Coast Local Jobs Program recognise that the tourism and hospitality sector has suffered significantly through the COVID crisis, and requires support to help it return to pre-COVID operations especially in regards to recruitment and training of sector employees. A Working Group has been established to determine the employment supports that should be developed for employers. The Working Group includes key stakeholders such as Training Services NSW, TAFE NSW, Destination Sydney Surrounds South, Local Councils, Chambers of Commerce and employer representatives from the hospitality and tourism industry.

We’d love to hear from you…
The Working Group has developed a survey to assist in determining the skill needs for training programs, and to identify job vacancies and employment demand across the region. We would appreciate your help by completing this survey so we can better understand the current situation and future needs of the sector.

The survey has 14 questions, and takes approximately 7 minutes to complete.
All will responses remain confidential.

Feedback received will also assist Destination Sydney Surrounds South with planning and delivery of the South Coast Centre of Excellence.

Please complete by next Monday, 11th October.
