Sally Bouckley

Southbound Escapes commenced trading in November 2018 and was founded by owner Sally Bouckley.  

Originally from Scotland Sally has been a business owner since 1996 including owning a food distribution business in Sydney for 13 years.  

Sally first travelled from Scotland to Narooma with her Australian Mum at the age of 7. Having holidayed in Narooma every year for over 25 years Sally’s passion for the region is evident.  

Sally worked in the travel industry for ten years including tour operators in Edinburgh, London, Nice, Seoul and finally for an Inbound Tour Operator in Sydney. Sally saw an opportunity for the South Coast and especially Narooma. Narooma was still to be discovered.  

Southbound Escapes is an eco certified touring company and specialist travel advisor based in Narooma on the New South Wales South Coast.  

Our primary focus is our connection to the land, sea , wildlife, nature, local produce and culture of the NSW South Coast region – Yuin County.  

Our unparalleled locals knowledge of Narooma and the the South Coast makes Southbound Escapes the number one travel advisor specialist for things to do and places to stay in Narooma and the South Coast region.  

We run and manage the fully accredited Narooma Visitor Information Centre and Lighthouse Museum offering a full booking service for experiences, accommodation and transport.
