Lyndel Gray

Lyndel is Chief Executive Officer of the NSW Caravan, Camping and Manufactured Housing Industry Association and has held this role since July 2012.

Before taking on her current role, Lyndel held the position of Executive Director Tourism at Destination NSW.

Prior to this, Lyndel headed up Tourism NSW for three years from 2008 – 2011.

Prior to joining Tourism NSW, Ms Gray was Executive General Manager, Western Hemisphere at Tourism Australia, and responsible for its Americas, UK/ Europe, New Zealand, South Africa and Middle East operations.

She also held senior executive roles with Tourism Australia in the USA for fourteen years, from 1987 – 2001, based in New York and Los Angeles.

Lyndel’s significant contribution to the industry was acknowledged when she was awarded the Outstanding Contribution by an Individual at the 2024 NSW Tourism Awards.

Lyndel is also a member of the Board of Surfing NSW and holds the role of Deputy Chair.
