Lyndel Gray

Lyndel is Chief Executive Officer of the NSW Caravan, Camping and Manufactured Housing Industry Association and has held this role since July 2012.

Before taking on her current role, Lyndel held the position of Executive Director Tourism at Destination NSW – the government agency which was created through the merger of the State’s tourism and major events authorities.

Prior to this, Lyndel headed up Tourism NSW for three years from 2008 – 2011 after previously holding roles of Chief Operating Officer and Director of Marketing with the organisation.

Prior to joining Tourism NSW, Ms Gray was Executive General Manager, Western Hemisphere at Tourism Australia, and responsible for its Americas, UK/ Europe, New Zealand, South Africa and Middle East operations.

She also held senior executive roles with Tourism Australia in the USA for fourteen years, from 1987 – 2001, based in both New York and Los Angeles. Until July 2023, Lyndel was Deputy Chair of the NSW Tourism Industry Council.

Lyndel is also a current member of the Board of Surfing NSW.
