Destination NSW will deliver three webinars during May to showcase opportunities for visitor economy businesses to target and promote to specific visitor groups.
A two-part webinar series, taking place on 16 and 18 May, in collaboration with Husbands that Travel, will share insights into the needs and considerations of LGBTQIA+ visitors and provide tips to tailor experience delivery and promotion to provide an inclusive and welcoming experience.
On 24 May, a webinar showcasing the opportunity to create EV-friendly road trip experiences in regional NSW by offering and promoting EV chargers, and includes information on the NSW Destination Charging Grants Program from the Office of Environment and Climate Change.
The webinars are part of the NSW First Program, delivered by Destination NSW to assist NSW visitor economy businesses to develop, promote and sell great visitor experiences.
Sustainability Skills Micro-credentials
NSW visitor economy businesses can build their sustainability skills for free with new online micro-credentials offered by Destination NSW, in partnership with EarthCheck.
The Sustainability Skills Micro-credentials are:
Sustainability 101
Sustainability Management, and
Sustainability and your Experience Delivery.
Completing these online courses will help visitor economy businesses to:
Increase operational efficiency and reduce costs 
Increase their sustainability knowledge
Deliver on consumer demand for sustainable experiences
Implement practical solutions in their business
Build a reputation through sustainable action.
Expressions of interest close at 11:59pm on 19 May 2023. Places are limited. Successful applicants will be notified by email and provided with log-in details to commence the micro-credentials. Participants have until Tuesday 31 October 2023 to complete the three courses.
