In acknowledgment of the tough times we’re all having, Destination Sydney Surrounds South has put together the industry support series Destination Drop In.

The series will include online webinars and quick interviews, to discuss mental health and wellbeing, as well as practical chats on government assistance and preparing to launch back with gusto when the lockdowns ease.

We invite you to join us for the online webinars. Starting next Friday at 10am, the sessions will be held over three weeks, we encourage business owners and operators to join us for a chat, to share, and hear from experts and industry leaders.

Protecting our Wellbeing | Carli Phillips BHSC, MBA

Session one of the Destination Drop In series will be presented by health and wellbeing expert, Carli Phillips (BHSc, MBA), the ‘real check-in’ session will cover the mental health impacts of a pandemic and provide attendees with support and resources, including selfcare toolkits. Also featuring visitor economy case studies, this highly useful session is a must attend for business owners and their employees during these challenging times.

Carli is an example of how embracing wellbeing at work can turn lives and businesses around. By enhancing wellbeing one person at a time, Carli has taught businesses to embrace a healthy culture and reap the rewards of a stronger, healthier business.

Combining 25 years of Health, Nutrition & Wellbeing expertise with Employee Wellbeing lead roles in multi-national corporations, Carli is a Corporate Wellbeing Specialist.
With a Degree in Health Science, a Masters in Business and a certificate in Mental Health First Aid, Carli’s experience includes Nutrition educator, Health Consultant, Corporate Wellbeing Lead, National Sales Manager, Sales & Product Trainer and Mentor. These roles come from a wide breadth of industries; Medical, Nutritional, Pharmaceutical, hospitality and Consumer Retail.
